On behalf of the organizing committee we are excited to announce the 9th Thomas Ashworth CTC & Liquid Biopsy Symposium will be held as an in-person event at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne on the 2nd and 3rd November 2023. The registration desk and the spacious well-designed symposium lecture hall is located on 7th floor. We hope the setting will inspire both speakers and delegates to engage enthusiastically to advance liquid biopsy research its clinical implementation.
The Symposium will run over 2 days enabling us to cover cutting-edge advances in liquid biopsy translational research and clinical applications. The program will begin at 9am on Thursday 2nd November and close at 5pm on Friday3rd November.
The aim of the Symposium is to enrich our understanding of the clinical application of liquid biopsy and improve patient outcomes, as well as provide critical insights into the metastatic process and application of liquid biopsy in different contexts. Topics that will be explored include circulating tumour cells, exosomes, methylated ctDNA, assay development, early detection, integration of liquid biopsy into clinical trials and precision oncology, treatment selection and monitoring as well as drug resistance monitoring.
An exciting line up of invited keynote speakers who are leaders in the field will be showcasing their liquid biopsy research. In addition, invited speakers and speakers selected from submitted abstracts from across Australia, New Zealand and Asia will present their latest research. Two panel discussions are included in the program and are designed to highlight patient perspectives and health professional views with the intent to stimulate debate and are a symposium highlight.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT The opportunity to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations is available. All abstracts will be reviewed by a panel and those chosen for oral presentation will be notified prior to the Symposium. Submissions are welcome from all delegates. For young investigators generous prizes will be awarded to rapid fire oral presentation finalists and the best poster - the abstract submission deadline is Friday 23th September 5pm.
